Swimming

LI: Swimming.
This week we are doing Swimming and Swimming is like you have to learn your lesson and keep on doing your lesson. My teacher was Mrs James and James teach us some lesson and the lesson was backstroke and freestyle and streamline and floating on our back and we have to go all the way at the end and we went to the other side and we did freestyle and streamline and we have to go on the other side again we did on the same side and we had to make our own swimming lesson.

LI: to focus more (not get distracted.)
We learned how to not get distracted. Distracted means to fall out of focus. Many things can distract us like people talking or physically annoying each other. To learn about distraction we played a game called distraction circle. In the game we had to get into groups of five, one person was picked to be in the middle, the person in the middle had to copy the person in front well the person got distracted by the another person the other person was telling a story about something that happened, and the other person had to sing a song that was called baa black sheep or any song they could think of. The other person had to write the number at the back of the person. The person in the middle had to try stay focused without being distracted by the others.

Today we had a speech and a poem compotition. We had a judge called Steven, who came from Tamaki College. We had 6 junior and 6 seniors. The people who presented the speech from my class were Fau and Sulia.

For the junior’s I liked Micela’s poem because she did humpty dumpty. I chosed Micela
because, Micela’s poem was funny.

For the year 4 to year 6, I liked Fau’s because it was about Mental health being.
I liked Fau’s speech because we needed to change our life of saying hi, good morning, and
good afternoon. I also liked in Fau’s speech that she used hands to act while she was
talking, and her voice was fluency.For the year 7 to year 8 I liked Jake’s becuase
plagiarism was a something that I learned today. I learned that plagiarism is a cheating
thing that most students do when they get stuck or do a test and look on other peoples
work.

This week we were doing Swimming and for Swimming I was in Mr James group with the other group and he teach us some skill and the was streamline, other skill we did and for the skill it was about saving the people that is far away from the beach and the lifeguard will come and reuse.

This week we are doing google drawing and google drawing is like marcaiyla and Deanne we made a shapes and for the shapes we had to get a shapes of a square and we write number and we have put the line in the square.

Fix the poster

This week we are doing Fix the poster. we have to Fix the poster and first we are doing Fix the color and we did fix the color so we move on the next page and the next page to bright and we Fix it and it wasn't bright anymore so we went to the next page and the next page was Fix the text and the text wasn't right so the Image was up top and the title was down bottom and I Fix the poster and next I had to Fix the word I did.
